CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Gentle yoga - This is a perfect class for those who are looking for a slow and peaceful practice. Longer warm ups, gentle stretches, smooth pose transitions. Deep relaxation and meditation. Learn to let go!
Hatha - Deep breathing and stretching. Focus on body and mind awareness. Exploring self-healing and finding the strength within. Discover how to calm the mind and body through breathing techniques. You can expect generous time devoted to relaxation and meditation.
Basic Vinyasa - Connecting breath with each movement in a flowing sequence of poses. Focusing more on the principles of alignment, moving with the breath, and allowing the body to create space. Finding the freedom in every movement.
Vinyasa Flow - This class can be challenging. Connecting breath and movement while strengthening the core, toning the body, and awakening your spirit. This class is for those who seek more challenging poses and who want to deepen their practice. Energizing class!
Power and Flow - Combination of Power yoga and Vinyasa flair. Challenging both mind and body. Focusing on proper alignment, complex poses and movements made in a rapid pace. Prepare to sweat and detox the body. Some yoga experience beneficial.
yoga Chair - For the mature yogi or those individuals healing an injury. The chair is used for extra support and to help with balance. Learn new breathing methods to release tension in the body and to relax the mind. Poses are modified and guidance provided for each pose. Enjoy the ease of this class.
Prenatal - Pre-registration will be required. Gentle stretches, special focus on breathing methods to relax the body and calm the mind as the body prepares for that special day. Expectant mothers will find this class supportive and attentive as their bodies adjust to change. Blocks, straps, and chairs are used during class to assist while each movement is made slow and controlled.
yoga Pretzels- yoga recommended for children ages 6-11. Any age will benefit and parents are welcome to observe. Children will have the opportunity to express themselves and have fun as they develop strength, self-esteem, and coordination. Learning ways to stretch and move in creative ways while promoting good posture. Fun activities and lots of laughs.
yoga for Athletes- Enhance your performance in sports or any physical activity such as golf, swimming, cycling, running and weight lifting. This class will improve balance in the body and concentration while increasing your core strength and flexibility.
Yoga and Meditation - This class will start with a gentle yoga practice and end with a guided meditation to experience a state of harmonious silence and stillness.
Zumba - All levels welcome. Easy to follow latin in-inspired fitness party. Learn salsa, menergue, calypso & more. Laugh, Smile and Dance.
